I love purses, but haven’t invested in many the last few years. I believe this began right around the time I gave birth to our son. Suddenly, everywhere I went I had a large bag (or 2!) that needed to go as well. Carrying an additional tote just for my items seemed like a royal pain and a major hazard (spit up has a way of landing in the worst places) so small wristlets that could be stored in the diaper bag replaced my gorgeous bags. The little man is two now and I find that either because of his age or my increased wisdom (i.e. I don't need 10 diapers, 3 blankets, 6 bottles, and 4 full changes of clothing for 1 hour of errands), my bag count has decreased. Incredibly, I also do things without the little man (so no kid bags needed)! To celebrate my new found freedom I treated myself to a fantastic new crossbody from Michael Kors and I love it. It keeps my hands free to chase after the toddler, but is sophisticated enough to transition to date-night dinners (or quick trips to Provence - hint hint hubby). The best part is that it comes in so many fun colors - pink, green, orange, blue. I'm thinking one of the pinks next on the list.
